I just came across a site called Plinky, thanks to the Knitting Goddess. It’s a site that … well let’s let them describe it to you
They say it more eloquently than I do *hehe*
Plinky makes it easy for you to create inspired content. Every day we provide a prompt (i.e. a question or challenge) and you answer. We make it simple to add rich media and share your answers on Facebook, Twitter and blogs.
See! Told ya. *laugh*
I thought it would be interesting to share our thoughts on the prompt they offer each day…. starting today… or rather night as it happens. Which also ties into today’s prompt. *laugh* “What keeps you up at night?”
Hmm… for me that would depend on the night, sorta. *laugh* Nights are usually the only time I get some quite time to myself without a child talking a mile-a-minute in the background making it hard for me to even think, let alone get any work done! (That’s why I love crocheting & knitting, I can still get things done without much thinking involved. *laugh*) Nights have quickly become the best time for my creative soul to soar. Normally though, I get a few things done then I head to bed around 11 pm or thereabouts. For the past year however – well really since I had my partial hysterectomy last October – I have found that if I go to bed & actually fall asleep before midnight, I am up again within the hour & each hour there after right up to the time that my son comes in to wake me up in the morning. So, these nights it’s quite normal to find me up – mostly reading, sometimes playing games online or stumbling, or even going back through my starred items within my Google Reader – between 3 & 4 am. That’s when my body & mind finally decide it’s okay for me to crash for the night.
So, what keeps you up at night? Are you night owl like myself or are you more of a morning person?
